Three years ago there was an explosion in China and an extremely contagious virus swept the world at an alarming rate, turning people into flesh-eating zombies, or the politically correct term, the Vitality challenged. Fast forward three years and world-famous scientist and Monster Hunter, Vincent Conrad, has the idea to wrangle the zombies together and display them while they experiment on them to find a cure. This place will be a theme park called Monster Land. he has also gathered the remaining vampires with promises to take care of them and brings in a pack of werewolves discovered to be living in Florida, also with the promise of a cure.
Meanwhile, Wyatt is a teen living with his annoying younger brother, Josh, his mom, and new step dad, Carter. They’ve been hearing reports about Monsterland when VIP tickets make their way into Wyatt’s hands.
This is a fast-paced book from start to finish. The second I started reading I couldn’t put it down. Not only is this an action-packed horror thriller, but it’s a morality tale about what constitutes being human and should a deadly virus be enough to strip people of their rights? It’s a quick read and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys horror. There is a lot of graphic gore so it’s not for the faint of heart.
